Room Information 

We are very excited to welcome you to Brympton.

To make your stay with us as comfortable and safe as possible, we would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to read this information.

We are a Grade 1 listed country house, as opposed to a hotel – but we are sure that our rooms will have all of the modern conveniences that you will need, and comfy beds!

We are a small team at Brympton House working hard to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. If there is anything we can help you with during your stay, please ask one of us and we will do our utmost to assist you. Thank you very much for staying with us, we hope that you have a fantastic time and enjoy your stay with us.

Wedding Day Check-In
We can’t wait to welcome you!
Here’s everything you need to know for check-in:
If your room is the Main House, check-in starts at 12:30 pm.
For the Stables, it’s 1:00 pm, and for the Farmhouse, you can check in at 1:30 pm. When you arrive, head to our cosy check-in lounge in the Party Barn, where refreshing chilled water, comfy seating, and restrooms await you. If you arrive early, relax in the lounge or drop your bags and grab a drink at the Library Bar. We’re here to make your day unforgettable!

Breakfast: Enjoy a delicious breakfast provided by the wedding party. If you have special dietary needs, don't hesitate to get in touch with them so their catering team can accommodate you.

Night Before Check-In: Please note that bedrooms are not available for public booking the night before a wedding unless they form part of a package paid for by the couple. So please confirm your check-in times with the wedding party before travel, as unauthorised bookings will be cancelled with only a partial refund.

Check Out: Don’t forget to check out by 10 a.m. on the day of departure—our housekeepers will need access right at that time!

Cots and Family Rooms: Unfortunately, we don’t have cots available. However, if you bring your own, please book rooms 11, 12, 13, or 15.

Disabled Access: Rooms 13, 14, and 15 feature step-free access and showers.

Amenities: All rooms come equipped with towels and toiletries, and while we don’t have hair dryers, we do have communal tea and coffee stations, ironing stations, and a small kitchen area for warming bottles.

Smoking: Brympton House is a non-smoking venue, so please refrain from smoking inside. You are welcome to smoke in the gardens, just dispose of cigarette ends responsibly.

First Aid Kit: A first aid kit is in the office—please let us know if you need to access it.

Parking & Access to Main Road: Please avoid parking in the “Trade Entrance” car park to ensure emergency access. Use designated spaces in the car park field or the Farm House car park for rooms 10-19 + 26-29.

Access: Feel free to come and go as you please! If you return late, please keep the noise down for fellow guests. The party will be at the Stables, and after it concludes, the Hall will be locked shortly after, but the star chamber doors remains open for easy access to the main house bedrooms.

Bedding: Due to allergies, all beds have synthetic pillows and four-season quilts.

Tea/Coffee and Ironing Stations: Enjoy complimentary beverages from our tea stations, supporting local suppliers The tap water in your room is safe to drink, and ironing stations are conveniently located near the bedrooms.

Food and Drink in Rooms: Please remember, outside food and alcohol aren’t permitted in your room or on the premises per our Terms and Conditions.

Noise: While we’ve made efforts to minimise noise, please be mindful of volume levels, especially after midnight.

Heating: Our rooms have thermostats for you to adjust radiators for your comfort, and hot water is continuously supplied.

Internet Access: Enjoy free wireless internet access at Brympton House—just connect to ‘Brympton House Guest Wifi’!

Telephone: Most network providers offer coverage on the estate.

Lights & Electrical Equipment: Please help conserve power by turning off lights and devices when not in use.

Forgotten Anything? We can’t post items left behind, so please remember all your belongings! Unclaimed items will be disposed of after 28 days.

Toilets: Please only flush toilet paper down the toilets, as a septic tank services our system.

Gardens: Explore our stunning 33 acres of gardens! Enjoy the views from our benches and take a stroll the apple orchard and Japanese garden. Please take care as paths can steep or slippery.

Travel Information & Cycling: Explore the beautiful Somerset Levels or take on the adventurous hills around for breathtaking views.
